http://www.cals.cornell.edu/extension/nabc/ - National Agricultural Biotechnology Council hosts annual public meetings about the safe, ethical, and efficacious development of agricultural biotechnology products. The California Community College Biotech Initiative is a member of NABC. Free excellent annual reports for the asking.

www.babec.org - The Bay Area Biotechnology Education Consortium (BABEC) is a regional network of local education partnerships based in the San Francisco Bay Area. BABEC is dedicated to increasing student understanding of key concepts in molecular biology, and raising student awareness of applications of the derived biotechnology.
